Shakespeare Summer Club 2024

All The World’s A Stage – Macbeth

Double double, toil and trouble…here comes a spooky story of witchy prophecies, ambition and guilt…are you ready to take on the challenge? Learn, prepare and perform the classic tragedy all in just ONE week!

Following a ‘play in a week’ format, with session taking place on weekdays from 10am-4pm, participants will explore elements of theatre and dramatic arts, including writing, set and costume design and directing. Participants will develop confidence and a love of stories alongside building supportive relationships within a safe and supportive environment as they work (and play!) towards an informal production for the family and friends on Friday 3pm in our magical Attic.

Through an accessible exploration of vivid imagery and poetic language in Shakespeare’s work, our creative team will empower children and young people to vocalise their thoughts confidently, reflect critically and engage creatively.

What are parents saying about Seven Stories Shakespeare Club?

“This week, my daughter is at a summer school, all based around Shakespeare and literature. Why? Because she’s book worm, loves writing short stories and this is right her street. I have watched her self-esteem sky-rocket each week, her confidence has grown, all because she is happy. Her happiness shows the true success of the brilliant team at Seven Stories. I just can’t wait for show day tomorrow!”
