Our Patrons & Supporters

Seven Stories is a charity and relies on donations from businesses and individuals as well as trusts and foundations.

Chapter One Founders

Our Chapter One Founders are people who have made an outstanding contribution to establishing Seven Stories as Britain’s only gallery and archive dedicated to children’s literature, through their generosity in sharing their time and expertise, through significant donations of money which enabled Seven Stories to be built or significant donations of archive material that enabled the early development of the Seven Stories’ Collection.

They include our founders Elizabeth Hammill OBE & Mary Briggs OBE, who had the original idea for the centre and made it a reality.

We have many valued and long term partnerships with publishers and other businesses.

We present fantastic opportunities to be involved with the UK’s only cultural centre dedicated to children’s books and to make valuable connections with customers, families, employees and communities in creative ways.

Our partnerships with grant-making trusts and foundations make a big difference to our work with children and young people.  There are always opportunities to support our ground breaking exhibitions and learning and participation programmes, as well as supporting the best care for and access to our collections.

Please contact info@sevenstories.org.uk about the difference your support could make.
