Be Part of our Story...

We care for a world class archive of children’s literature and run a lively visitor centre that celebrates books through an inspiring programme of exhibitions, events, performances and of course – storytelling.

An ambitious outreach programme sees our exhibitions tour across the UK, takes books and their authors into schools and uses stories to help disadvantaged children and young people read, learn, succeed and achieve their own potential.

Ways To Donate

We’re a registered charity and accredited museum, and our team work with schools, communities and families to ensure every child has access to stories.
