ABOUT THE OWL KING:

Long ago the the rulers of the faery realms worked together to maintain harmony in their world. But time is cruel, and as the years passed the Owl King has became more and more power hungry. When it is time for him to hunt for a new bride, his eyes fall onto the beautiful Lyla – determined to save her sister, Ilsette sets out on a quest to correct the balance of power.

While Ilsette travels under scarlet stars, befriending a strange magpie and two shadow faeries, Lyla distracts the king with her bewitching stories, but time is running out. Will Lyla survive her fate, and will Ilsette destroy peace among the realms all to save her beloved sister?
